UNC American Studies PhD Alum Ina Dixon Chosen as 2023-2024 Virginia Humanities Fellow

The department would like to congratulate Ina Dixon (Ph.D. American Studies, 2021), who was awarded a Virginia Humanities Public Humanities Fellowship for 2023-2024. The fellowship will support work on an exhibit titled A Dan River Fabric: The Life and Legacy of the Schoolfield Community. The public-facing project is an extension of her dissertation work at UNC.
