Assists Associate Chair of Business Operations with the day-to-day operations of the combined business unit and ensures continuous operation of the business unit in times of increased workload or the absence of the Associate Chair of Business Operations; assists with all matters including human resources, direct hiring, recruitment, scheduling, budgeting, & project management. Oversees hiring of all SHRA and EHRA student hiring; Serves as the Departmental TIM Administrator, Departmental Summer School Manager, Departmental Access Coordinator, Departmental Work Study HR Hiring Manager, and one of the Departmental I-9 Agents. |

Enroll eligible students in the Graduate Student Health Insurance Program (GShip). Processes Waiver of Hours forms. Processes tuition remissions. Process Admissions and Degree Applications. Process employment/payroll actions and tuition payments for all eligible graduate students who teach or serve in year-long research assistant positions. Handles all ePar processing for hire, SWB, and RWB of TF’s, TA’s, and RA’s. Works with Program Coordinator, Supervisor, and Business Officer to coordinate information needed to communicate during Orientation to all new and returning Grad Students |
