The New Scholarship on the U.S. South: A Wilson Library Fellows Symposium will be held November 7-8. The symposium will feature the work of several scholars associated with the Department of American Studies, including PhD candidate Irene Newman, PhD alum Ina Dixon, postdoctoral fellow Amanda Martinez, and UNC American Studies undergraduate alum Rebekah Aycock. American Studies Distinguished Professor and Director of the Center for the Study of the American South Dr. Blair Kelley will give closing remarks.
