AMST student, Charlotte Fryar publishes piece in Talking Points Memo on NC’s crucial role as a swing state

Charlotte Fryar, a Ph.D. candidate in American Studies has published a longform piece for Talking Points Memo about North Carolina’s crucial role as a swing state in 2016, which specifically focuses on Frank Porter Graham, a former president of UNC and a progressive champion of the state.
