Please join us in congratulating American Studies PhD Candidate Meredith McCoy on several pieces of wonderful news: She has received a Frances C. Allen Fellowship to research at the Newberry Library in Chicago. She will also be teaching two summer courses on indigenous studies as an adjunct faculty at Turtle Mountain Community College. And last, but not least, Meredith is also part of a team of researchers who were awarded the winning bid from the Native American Rights Fund to create an interdisciplinary review of the literature on “The Impact of the Boarding School Era on Native Americans Today.”
