Meet Me on the Midway: Three Centuries of Fairs in North Carolina—A Lecture Featuring Linda Jacobson and Alison Barnett
A joint colloquium in collaboration with the American Studies Undergraduate Association, this lecture extends from the “Meet Me on the Midway” exhibition in the North Carolina Collection Gallery. Linda Jacobson and Alison Barnett will be sharing (via powerpoint) a few of the items featured in the collection and providing context on the contested histories of class, race, and gender of the NC Agricultural Fair.
